eBills

Cut down on paper bills

Improve your efficiency, and reduce the amount of snail mail you receive, by signing up for e-bills. Electronic versions of the paper bills you receive in the mail, e-bills come directly to your Salem Five Online Banking account, where you can view, pay, and electronically file them away. Using e-bills means better record-keeping, quicker payment turnaround, and less risk of error.

Security is key when it comes to your finances and our tools make it easy. You can choose to get alerts or manage spending limits on your debit card. And access to your accounts is always secure with personalized Touch ID, facial recognition or your pin.

Alerts (text/email)

Stay on top of your account activity

Keeping tabs on your account activity is just plain smart financial management. And, it's easy, when you set custom parameters to receive alerts via text and/or email. You can customize balance and transaction alerts to notify you when, for example:

  • Your account reaches pre-set minimum or maximum balances, or
  • A transaction posted that is greater than a specified amount

To get started, log in to your Salem Five Online Banking account, click "Settings" and select "Security and Alerts" from the menu. Click "Alerts" then select your alert type and the method in which you would like to receive the alert (email or text). Then confirm and save the alert.

Card Controls

Safeguard your debit card

Your card, your terms. You can now control your Salem Five Visa® Debit Card from your Salem Five Mobile Banking App. Card Controls allows you to monitor and manage your debit card while on the go. You can manage the following right from your mobile phone:

  • Lock and unlock the use of your card with a click
  • Control purchases – You can restrict debit card usage by location, merchant type, transaction type, or dollar amount
  • Set real-time alerts on activity – You can receive notifications of debit card activity based on location, merchant category, transaction type, or dollar amount

Security

Log into Salem Five's Mobile Banking app with Face ID®

With an iPhone® model X or newer, you get Face ID® authentication. Simple access with added security means there’s no easier way to keep track of your accounts.

How to setup Touch ID or Face ID

  1. Launch the app on the iPhone X.
  2. Tap the Touch ID on the bottom button bar of the login page.
  3. See the "Log In With Touch ID" prompt. Tap the Log in and Set Up button.
  4. Proceed to log in, and turn on the Touch ID setting.
  5. Log out.
  6. Tap Touch ID icon in the bottom button bar.
  7. At the iOS prompt – see sample attached – tap OK.


Now iOS will prompt for face scan in place of fingerprint. All labels still say Touch ID in the 17.4 apps, but the user is prompted for the face scan. 18.1 apps, iPhone X users will see Touch ID labels replaced with Face ID.
