Rebecca Fortado

VP, Branch Manager

Hello! I have been a VP Branch Manager with Salem Five for more than eight years and am proud to represent our Georgetown and Hamilton/Wenham communities. I have been in Retail Banking for fifteen years and love building and deepening relationships with clients. Being actively involved in my local communities is important to me and something I really enjoy. In particular, I have a passion for advocating for causes that alleviate food insecurity and enhance financial literacy. I attended Keene State College in New Hampshire where I studied Social Science with specializations in Psychology & Sociology and went on to receive my Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Outside of the office, I am the Board of Director for The Open Door Food Pantry in Gloucester, Board Member for the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation, Committee Member for EDAC (GNCC), and a Membership Ambassador for Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. A lifelong resident of Ipswich, I live with my husband Joe, our sons Gunner and Silas and Siberian Husky, Skylar.
