    Renew your CD quickly and securely online at maturity or during the grace period. If your CD is outside the renewal window, you can still view account details via Online Banking. The renewal process takes just a few minutes.

    Please note: CDs held in the name of a Trust are not eligible for online renewal.

    Visit any Salem Five branch to renew your CD in person. Our team is happy to assist you.

  3. By Mail 
    To renew and add funds from an external account, mail the completed form included with your maturity notice — or written request — along with a check to:

    Important: If we do not receive renewal instructions within 10 days of your CD's maturity date, it will automatically renew to a Regular CD with the same term at the current rate.

A minimum balance of $10,000 is required to open and obtain the annual percentage yield (APY) for our non-IRA CD Special, and for our IRA CD Special, the minimum balance is $2,000. A penalty will be imposed for early withdrawals from Certificates of Deposit (CDs). Maximum deposit amount is $500,000. The 7-month Special CD is restricted to residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Fees may reduce earnings. Personal accounts only. One account per customer.
