Rebecca Fortado

VP, Branch Manager

Hello! I have been a VP Branch Manager with Salem Five for more than five years and am proud to represent our Georgetown and Hamilton/Wenham communities. I have been in Retail Banking for fifteen years and love building and deepening relationships with clients. Being actively involved in my local communities is important to me and something I really enjoy. In particular, I have a passion for advocating for causes that alleviate food insecurity and enhance financial literacy. I attended Keene State College in New Hampshire where I studied Social Science with specializations in Psychology & Sociology and went on to receive my Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Outside of the office, I am the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and sit on the Boards of Directors for The Open Door in Gloucester and the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. I am an Advisory Committee Member as well as a Financial Literacy Advocate for the Keystone Club for the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence. A lifelong resident of Ipswich, I live with my husband Joe, our son Gunner, our two dogs (Mr. Frank, dachshund and Bella, Great Dane) and one mini lop bunny named Lucy.
