No, that will not change. All Salem Five Bank client account balances in excess of the FDIC limit of $250,000 are insured by Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF).
There is no expected disruption in ATM service during the conversion. You should expect to be able to withdraw funds and make deposits. However, account balances from ATM machines may not be up-to-date until Monday, May 7th, and ATM withdrawal limits may be affected.

After the conversion, you will have more time to deposit funds at an ATM. Deposits made before 3:30pm Monday through Friday will become available on the next business day. Deposits made via ATM after 3:30pm Monday through Friday and any time on Saturday, Sunday or a federal holiday will become available on the second business day from the day of the deposit.
Yes, transactions will post to your account differently than they do now. "Posting" is the process by which banks record transactions received for credit to (eg, deposit) or debit from (eg, withdrawal) your account. When a transaction is "posted," the monetary value of that transaction is added to or subtracted from the balance of your account. Yes! After you visit SalemFive.com, log in to your Online Banking for the first time, and establish your security profile, you can download and use the Salem Five app for Mobile Banking.
Yes, Popmoney and external transfers are available to you after you visit SalemFive.com and log in to your Online Banking for the first time. Both your Popmoney payees as well as your external accounts within Georgetown Bank’s Online Banking system will not be converted to your Salem Five Online Banking and will need to be setup again.
Because Georgetown Bank Online Banking will no longer be available on Sunday, May 6th at 7am, please make note of your current Popmoney payees as well as your external accounts within your Georgetown Bank Online Banking so that you can easily set up them again on or after Monday, May 7th, within Salem Five Online Banking.
Once you log in to Online Banking, you will find Popmoney by choosing the “Pay People” tab. You will find external transfers by choosing the “Transfers” tab, and clicking the ”External Account Transfer“ link.
Yes, after accepting the Terms and Conditions for Salem Five Bill Pay, you will have access to not only this service, but the payees, automatic bill pays and bill pay history you established with Georgetown Bank.

Yes, customers will continue to receive e-Statements, and your e-Statement history, available on Monday, May 7th, will increase from up to 3.5 years to up to 7 years. However, if you are a mortgage customer, you may need to re-enroll in electronic statements.
Depending on your statement cycle, you may receive two statements for the month of May.
If you are a Georgetown Bank deposit customer, depending on your statement cycle, you may receive two statements for the month of May.
If you are a Georgetown Bank loan customer, in addition to your monthly statement, you may receive important supplementary information about your loan account. Also, if you typically receive more than one statement per month on your account, you will now receive only one statement monthly.
Additionally, if you have a combined statement currently with a linked overdraft account, you will now receive a separate loan statement for your overdraft account.
Yes, you can still use your Georgetown Bank Debit Card and/or ATM card from Friday, May 4th up to Monday, May 7th. However, please note, for conversion weekend, your Georgetown Bank Debit and/or ATM card limits will change.
Yes, Georgetown Bank customers will receive a new Salem Five Bank Visa® Debit and/or ATM card towards the end of April. You can begin using this card on May 7th once you set your pin number. To set your pin, call the card activation system at (800) 992-3808.
Additionally, your previous Georgetown Bank Mastercard® Debit and/or ATM card will no longer work as of May 7th, 2018. If you do not receive your new card by May 7th, 2018, please reach out to the Salem Five Contact Center at (800) 850-5000.
Please Note: If you haven’t used your Georgetown Bank Mastercard® Debit card since November 30th, 2016, your card will not be reissued to you. Additionally, if you have custom limits on your ATM or debit card, they will not carry over to your new Salem Five Visa® Debit and/or ATM card. Please review your new card limits in the enclosed disclosure booklet.
Yes, if you have automatic payments set up with your Georgetown Bank Debit card, you will I need to update those payments with your new Salem Five Visa® Debit card information in order for those payments to continue to process.
A service of the Salem Five Bank Visa® Debit and/or ATM card is phone call alerts in the event of potential fraud. In addition, if you choose to enroll, you will also be alerted via SMS.
To enroll in SMS alerts, after logging in to your Salem Five Online Banking, click “Settings”. Select “Security and Alerts” from the menu. Click “Alerts”. Select your alert type and the method in which you would like to receive the alert (email or text). Then, confirm and save the alert.
Your card limits that are currently set on your Georgetown Bank Debit and/or ATM card will be different from your card limits on your Salem Five Visa® Debit and/or ATM card that will be issued to you toward the end of April. As of Monday, May 7th, 2018, you may use AccessLine, Salem Five’s account access telephone banking system by calling our Salem Five Contact Center at (800) 850-5000 and selecting option 1.
When you first call the Telephone Banking system after conversion, it will prompt you through resetting your PIN for future use. For this initial call, you will need your account number and your temporary PIN. As the system will indicate, your temporary PIN has been preset. To retrieve your temporary password for telephone banking, please refer to your mailed welcome kit, or call Salem Five Contact Center at (800) 850-5000. Once you enter in your temporary password, you will be prompted to create a new 4-digit PIN to use for future transactions with Telephone Banking.
No, there are no changes to the terms of your loan.
Due to the conversion, your May monthly loan payment(s) (automatic, in-branch or online) may be debited from your account later than usual.

You will be able to make your mortgage payments online with Georgetown Bank until April 30th, 2018. After that day, you will not be able to make a mortgage payment online until after conversion weekend on Monday, May 7th, 2018 by going to this page.
Note: Due to the conversion, your May monthly mortgage loan payment online may be debited from your account later than usual. Also, If your loan payment is set up for automatic withdrawal, your payment may not be debited from your account until after conversion weekend on Monday, May 7th.
