Whether paying back a friend for last night's dinner, splitting costs while traveling, gifting, or sending and receiving money for emergencies, Zelle offers a fast, safe and easy way to send money to friends and family using Salem Five's mobile app, personal Salem Five checking account and online banking.

Getting started is simple: After logging into Salem Five Online Banking, customers select "Send Money with Zelle®" and enter a trusted recipient's email address or U.S. mobile phone number to obtain a one-time verification code. Once verified, they're ready to start sending and receiving money with Zelle. When initiating a transfer, funds are sent directly to a recipient's bank account.
