Salem Five's Joe Scianatico Named President of the Board of Directors
for the Boys & Girls Club of Lynn
Salem, Mass., May 23, 2018 – Salem Five is pleased to announce that Joseph Scianatico, a vice president and market manager of the bank’s two Lynn retail locations, has been named president of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Lynn for the 2018-2019 term. Scianatico has served as first vice president for the 2017-2018 term.
The Boys & Girls Club of Lynn encourages the positive development and enhances the quality of life for the youth of the greater Lynn community. Its programs are designed to build self-confidence and self-esteem, and focus on six initiatives: arts, education, leadership, life skills, sports, fitness and recreation, and technology.

Scianatico, who has worked for Salem Five since 2014, is an active member of the Lynn community, and is particularly focused on supporting youth and education programs. In addition to his work with the Boys & Girls Club, he serves as a member of the board at The Real Program, a nonprofit organization that promotes child literacy in Lynn; St. Pius V School; and Family and Children’s Services of Greater Lynn. He has been recognized for his contributions to the local community by the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce with its “Volunteer of the Year” award. Scianatico lives in Marblehead with his wife and daughter.
