Salem Five’s Jason Consalvo Sworn in as 100th President of the Salem Rotary Club
Salem, Mass., July 31, 2017 – Salem Five is pleased to announce that Jason Consalvo, a vice president and market manager of the bank’s two Salem retail locations, has been elected as the 100th president of the Salem Rotary Club for the 2017-2018 term. Consalvo was sworn in as president at the Club’s annual Installation Dinner at the Kernwood Country Club on June 27th.
The Rotary Club is an international non-profit humanitarian organization comprised of over 1.2 million members worldwide. Consalvo, who is the 100th president of the Salem Rotary Club, will be responsible for supporting member engagement, the club’s community service and fundraising efforts, and overseeing the Club’s centennial celebrations, which will take place in early 2018.
Consalvo has been a Rotarian since 2010, when he joined the Swampscott Rotary Club. When his work moved to Salem in 2013, he joined the Salem Rotary Club. In 2014 Consalvo was asked to join the club’s leadership team, and subsequently served as vice president in 2015-16 and president-elect in 2016-17. During that time, Consalvo also chaired the Scholarship Committee, where he oversaw the distribution of $50,000 to Salem residents pursuing college educations, and the Fundraising Committee, where he worked to raise $45,000 for the Club’s annual dinner and auction event.

In addition to his work with the Salem Rotary Club, Consalvo is also the immediate past-president of the Salem Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Beverly, MA with his wife and two children.
