Salem, Mass., January 30, 2018 – Salem Five announced today that Christine Tran has joined its team as Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Underwriter, where she will be responsible for underwriting and review of all commercial, commercial real estate and land development loans.
Tran, who has more than 10 years of banking and real estate experience, previously worked as a vice president at The Debt Exchange where she conducted fair market valuations of over $12 billion in performing and non-performing commercial real estate loans. Prior to that, she was the director of lending at ING Bank in Los Angeles and Hong Kong where she originated and managed a portfolio of over $2 billion of commercial real estate loans.

"Her extensive experience, coupled with her knowledge of the commercial real estate industry, makes Christine an ideal addition to our commercial team."
Tran earned a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. She lives in Nashua with her partner and son.
