New site offers a customized user experience through visitor personalization
Salem, Mass., February 22, 2018 – Today Salem Five announced the launch of the newly redesigned SalemFive.com. The revamped site reinforces the bank’s long-standing commitment to provide its customers with the best in digital technology and a user experience that helps uncomplicated personal finances.
The new site was created with the help of customer feedback and extensive user testing and developed to align with Salem Five’s customer-centric approach to banking and service. The site features streamlined design that allows for a more efficient digital experience with a homepage that captures the bank’s greater Boston roots. The homepage features seasonal cinemagraphs, images that are part photo and part video, that display based on the time of day the user is visiting the site.
The new site is also adaptable offering customized elements to reoccurring visitors based on their use patterns. For example, a Salem Five business customer will likely see more business-related products, services and information throughout the site after previously being identified as a business customer based on their site visit history and performing specific qualifying actions.
Additional new features include:
- An Education Center that offers users information and guidance on a wide-range of financial matters including retirement, credit and debt, home ownership, cyber security, personal money management, workplace finances and small business.
- Geolocation capabilities that automatically show users the Salem Five location nearest to them and the bank experts available to assist them at that particular location.
- An upgraded search feature that allows for more targeted searching.
- Real-time social media feed integration featuring Salem Five’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
- An enhanced Careers section that highlights the bank’s culture, benefits, open positions, and development opportunities.
