Salem, Mass., December 19, 2017 – Salem Five announced today that Deanne Healey, the former president and CEO of the Peabody Chamber of Commerce, has joined their team as a Vice President and Market Manager. In this role, Healey will oversee customer experience, business development and operations at the bank’s two Peabody locations, The North Shore Mall and 19 Central Street.
Prior to joining Salem Five, Healey led the Peabody Chamber of Commerce for 12 years where she oversaw a full organization re-brand, developing new sponsorships and programs that helped increase the Chamber’s non-dues revenue by 250 percent. Before joining the Chamber of Commerce, Healey worked for 15 years at the ITT Sheraton Corporation as the divisional director of reservations & marketing analysis. During her tenure, Healey increased room nights booked online by 27 percent and established new pricing strategies that grew online revenue by 58 percent.
Outside of the office, Healey is an active member of the Peabody community. She is the president of the Peabody Main Streets program and a board member and chair of the Community Relations Committee for the Peabody Education Foundation. She is the past president of the Peabody Cultural Collaborative and the Massachusetts Membership Development, and a former board member of the YMCA of Metro North and Peabody Access Telecommunications, an award-winning local access television station.
Healey is also an instructor at the Young Entrepreneurs Academy where she teaches students how to start and launch their own business. She was honored with the Torigian Family YMCA Community Champion award in 2016 and the Northeast Arc’s Community Partner of the Year award in 2014.

Healey earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a graduate of The Institute for Organization Management program. She lives in Lynnfield with her husband, two children and a Westie Terrier.
