Salem Five Names Maria Laverghetta AVP of Customer Data and Analytics
Salem, Mass., April 25, 2017 – Salem Five announced today that Maria Laverghetta has joined its team as assistant vice president and marketing manager of customer data and analytics. Laverghetta will be responsible for developing new and existing customer growth strategies, driving product and channel insights, marketing segmentation strategies, and interpreting market and performance data to help develop market direction and strategy.
“In today’s world, data analytics is crucial to developing and implementing effective business strategies,” said Martha Acworth, Chief Marketing Officer for Salem Five. “Maria’s experience and passion for business intelligence and marketing analytics make her the ideal person to spearhead our data-driven marketing strategies.”
Prior to joining Salem Five, Laverghetta was an advisor and analyst for Pearson Education in Orlando, Florida for six years. She has also held additional roles at Destination Debt Solution and Grimco, Inc. In her spare time, Laverghetta is working with a startup through the business development department at MGH and Harvard Medical School as a financial consultant and equity partner.
Laverghetta earned bachelor’s degrees in music and journalism from the University of Florida and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Northeastern University. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, and Golden Key Honor Society. She resides in Salem.
