Easier Access To Your eStatements
With our enhanced eStatement portal, you definitely won't miss paper statements. We've made it easy for you to view and manage your electronic statements and notices for eligible Salem Five accounts. With eStatements, you get notified via email when your new statement is available and you can view up to seven years of statement history. Did we mention they look and print just like paper statements?

Not enrolled in eStatements yet? It's easy to get started.
- Log into online banking
- Click into the account that you'd like to update
- Select "Online Statements" from the options in the menu on the right
- Click "Continue" in the popup box and a new window will open
- If you have not already enrolled, the "Statement Preferences" option will appear in the top bar
- Select "Statement Preferences" from the menu and follow the prompts to change your statement delivery method
- Hit submit and you're all set!

What are the requirements to get eStatements?
You simply need to have a deposit account and be enrolled in Salem Five Online Banking. If you do not have a Salem Five account, apply online.

How many eStatements will I see in Salem Five Online Banking?
Salem Five began creating eStatements on July 25, 2006. Therefore, for existing Salem Five accounts, you will have at least one Statement available for your account when you enroll. For new accounts, Online Statements will be available after the first statement is created for the account.

How long will my eStatements be available within Salem Five Online Banking?
Your eStatements will be available in Salem Five Online Banking for 7 years after they are made available to you.

Is it secure to receive my eStatements electronically?
Yes, secure access to your eStatements is only available through Salem Five Online Banking using your existing multifactor authentication.

How will I know when my eStatement is available?
We will send you an email to the email address we have on file for you. You will also receive a Message within Online Banking when your eStatement is available for viewing.

How do I make sure you have my current email address?
The Change Email link on the Customer Service tab will show you the address we have on file and will allow you to change the email address.
IMPORTANT: If you are using a "spam blocker" with your email program, be sure to add "estatements@salemfive.com" to your approved recipients list.

Will I continue to receive a paper copy of my statement in the mail?
You will receive a paper statement in the mail for the current statement cycle. Then, beginning with your next statement, we will discontinue sending you paper statements in the mail. For annual statements, such as for CDs and passbook savings accounts, paper statements will be discontinued immediately upon enrollment in Online Statements.

What happens if I need a paper copy of my statement?
You can print a copy of any eStatement that is in Online Banking.

Will I continue to receive my check images?
Your eStatement includes both your account transaction history as well as images of the front of all checks paid on your account. You will find that the eStatement looks just like the image statement you currently receive in the mail.

What if I need a copy of the back of one of my imaged checks?
You will have electronic access to the front and back of all your checks for 13 months within the Account Activity screen. Post that period, Simply send us a message using the "Contact us" link on the Customer Service tab in Salem Five Online Banking and we will send you a copy. When contacting us, please provide the account number and the check number you would like a copy of.

When I enroll into eStatements, does this automatically apply for all my accounts?
You will have the option to select which accounts you want electronic statement delivery within Online Banking.

Do I need any special software or hardware in order to view or save my eStatement?
To view your eStatement, you need to have an account and Adobe® Reader® installed on your computer. This software is available for download by visiting Adobe's website. The hardware requirements for accessing eStatements are the same as for using Online Banking, no other hardware is required. However, if you want to print your eStatement you must have a printer capable of printing PDF formatted documents connected to your computer.
