What is Salem Five Mobile Banking?
Salem Five mobile banking gives you access to your accounts from your mobile web browser or a downloadable mobile banking application. Both options allow you to:

How Do I Sign Up for Salem Five Mobile Banking?
Download the Salem Five app and login with your online banking credentials.

I Activated Salem Five Mobile Banking on My Phone's Browser. Why Am I Being Asked to Activate Again?
At the time of activation, a "cookie" is stored on your phone's browser which allows the Mobile Banking system to remember you activated. Some phones may require you to enable cookies or periodically erase them, requiring re-activation. If you are experiencing this issue, check your phone settings to ensure cookies are enabled.

Which Mobile Devices and Carriers are Supported for Salem Five Mobile Banking?
You can access Salem Five Mobile Banking from any Internet-enabled mobile phone (such as WAP phones), iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android device. The device must have an Internet connection. Most popular US wireless phone carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon are supported. If your carrier is not listed when you enroll, select "Other" and try the Mobile Web option.

Is Salem Five Mobile Banking Secure?
Yes, the mobile banking service utilizes best practices from online banking, such as HTTPS, 128-bit SSL encryption, PIN, or password access and application time-out when your phone is not in use. Only the phones that you can personally enroll in the service can access your accounts. In addition, no account data is ever stored on your phone. And in the event your phone is lost or stolen, the service can be immediately disabled by either going online to the Mobile Banking enrollment website or contacting us.

Is There a Fee to Use Salem Five Mobile Banking?
No. Salem Five Mobile Banking is free of charge. You may want to check with your service provider for text and/or data usage charges associated with your plan.

Does Salem Five Have a Mobile Web Site?
Salem Five does not have a separate mobile website. All of the pages are available via the main website URL (salemfive.com) on a mobile phone or tablet.

Does Salem Five have an App?
Yes, we currently have smartphone apps for the Android™ and iPhone app®. We also have tablet apps for Android™, Kindle Fire, and iPad devices®.

Does Salem Five have Mobile Deposit?

How do I enable/disable Touch ID?
You can enable/disable Touch ID® from the Login & Security section within Settings. Touch ID® will need to be set up on your device before it can be enabled within the application.

How do I setup Touch ID or Face ID?
- Launch the app on the iPhone X.
- Tap the Touch ID on the bottom button bar of the login page.
- See the "Log In With Touch ID" prompt. Tap the Log in and Set Up button.
- Proceed to log in, and turn on the Touch ID setting.
- Log out.
- Tap Touch ID icon in the bottom button bar.
- At the iOS prompt – see sample attached – tap OK.
Now iOS will prompt for face scan in place of fingerprint. All labels still say Touch ID in the 17.4 apps, but the user is prompted for the face scan. 18.1 apps, iPhone X users will see Touch ID labels replaced with Face ID.
