Rebecca Fortado

Vice President, Market Manager

Hello! I came to Salem Five through the Georgetown Bank acquisition, and I’m happy to be representing the bank in our community. I have been in Retail Banking for over ten years, working my way up from Customer Service Representative to Regional Manager, and during that time I’ve worked on five mergers/acquisitions, with Georgetown Bank’s being my sixth. I attended Keene State College in New Hampshire where I studied Social Science with specializations in Psychology & Sociology and went on to receive my Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Outside of the office, I serve as an Ambassador & Young Professional Committee Member and am on the Board of Directors for the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, am a member of the Keystone Club for the Lawrence Boys & Girls Club, a part of the Ambassador to Next Generation Leaders Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, BNI Ipswich, MA member and am an active half marathon runner with my sister. A lifelong resident of Ipswich, I live with my husband Joe, our three dogs (two dachshunds named Tucker & Frank and a Great Dane named Bella) and two bunnies (Lucy and Dotty).
