Rebecca Fortado

Vice President, Market Manager

Rebecca came to Salem Five through the Georgetown Bank acquisition. An old pro, she has worked on five mergers/acquisitions during her time in banking, with Georgetown Bank’s being her sixth. She specializes in Retail Banking, Small Business Lending, Team Development, and Community Outreach.

Rebecca has been in Retail Banking for over ten years, working her way up from Customer Service Representative to Regional Manager. She attended Keene State College in New Hampshire where she studied Social Science with specializations in Psychology & Sociology and went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Outside of the office, Rebecca is very active in her community. She serves as an Ambassador & Young Professional Committee Member with the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Keystone Club for the Lawrence Boys & Girls Club, part of the Young Professional Group for the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, and still finds time to be an active half marathon runner with her sister.

A lifelong resident of Ipswich, Rebecca lives with her husband Joe, their three dogs (two dachshunds named Tucker & Frank and a Great Dane named Bella) and two bunnies (Lucy and Dotty).

Salem Five has been my favored bank for 8 years. Their customer service and willingness to always be helpful is a warm welcome in an ever-changing world!
