When will my funds be available?
Funds from the following deposits will be available on the same business day that we receive your deposit: cash, wire transfers, electronic payments (direct deposit).
How do I add a signer to my account?
Send us a letter or fax with the following information about the joint signer:
Once we receive the information, we will process the application and send a new signature card for both signers to sign and submit to us.
How do I close an account?
Please mail us a signed letter or email us from your Online Banking account stating that you would like to close your account. Once we receive this notification, we will close your account and send you a check for the balance.
I live outside the United States. Can I open an account?
Even if you are temporarily residing outside the U.S., you may still apply for an account if you have a verifiable permanent U.S. residential address and a valid U.S. Social Security number.
What is Salem Five's AccessLine?
AccessLine is our automated telephone banking service that allows you to access your account information, conduct account transfers and make loan payments, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Simply call 800.255.7787.
Do you have Visa gift cards available? And if so, what is your fee?
We do not offer Visa gift cards but we do offer American Express Gift Checks at our branches. The fees for the American Express Gift Checks are 1% of the total purchase. However, if you have a Gold Star Checking account the fee will be waived.
Can I buy savings bonds from Salem Five?
Yes, if you are a Salem Five account holder you can purchase savings bonds from any of our branches.
