What are the types of operations?
- Medical Device Manufacturing Excluding Products - Medical device manufacturers including clinical trials or performing research and development. This class includes manufacturers of invasive products that are in the body 30 days or more. Examples of products manufactured include artificial joint replacements, implanted artificial valves, tubing or devices, pacemakers or implantable pain control devices.
- Prepackaged Software - Development and production of prepackaged software such as operating systems, utilities or applications. Software may be mass produced or a limited production for specialized market niches such as accounting firms. Includes the incidental installation of software sold. Software related to the following are ineligible: alarms or other physical security, aviation, transportation, computer aided design or manufacturing (CAD/CAM), medical, gaming, gambling and vice related software.
- Website Design and Development Services - Provides consultation and programming services to create, design or redesign a web site and develop the software required to run the web site. Includes text, graphics, links, functionality and promotion of web sites with search engines. Services may also include creation of web pages, graphic design, banner design, branding, site promotion, site maintenance, site management and hosting.
- Internet Access and Service Provider - Provides consumers or businesses access to the internet and related services. In addition to internet access via various technologies such as dial-up and DSL, they may provide a combination of services including internet transit, domain name registration and hosting, web hosting and association.
- Electronic Components Manufacturing - Produces a wide variety of electrical components that are not otherwise classified and are devices of various physical sizes and current flow, impedance ratings, and voltage ratings. The components have a very wide application in electrical circuits. Electronics Manufacturing – R&D Only - Products or services are in the research and development stage. No products or services are ready to be distributed to customers.
- Software Developers & Technology Service Providers – R&D Only - Products or services are in the research and development stage. No products or services are ready to be distributed to customers.
- Biotechnology Firms Research Only Excluding Products - Biotechnology firms only conducting research without producing a product with or without clinical trials. Risks engaged in cryogenic research or conducting human clinical trials are ineligible.

What are coverage enhancements?
- Hired & Non-Owned Auto: Liability coverage on excess basis to cover the company should an employee uses his/her auto on company business.
- Umbrella: Additional layer of liability coverage to protect the company. There are times vendor contracts require higher limits that can be addressed with an umbrella.
- Products Liability Coverage: If you manufacture and/or distribute a product and it causes property damage or bodily injury to others.
- Professional Liability Coverage: If a third party suffers a financial harm due to your advice or work and sues you for loss of income or damages.
- Data Breach: A third party gains access to private information; this coverage provides money for notification and remediation.
- Workers Compensation: Covers injury to employees for both medical bills and loss wages.
- Employment Benefits Liability: If an employee is financially harmed should the employer fail to provide the intended benefits.
